There are currently several members of the Re-Opening Committee, inluding past staff, students and parents. To be a member of this committee you must be committed to helping restart the school, understand and agree with the Sudbury School Model, as practiced at the Sudbury Valley School in Framingham, Mass. and have time to devote to the effort necessary to restart the school. We do not have a limit on the number of members and anyone who meets the definition above is welcome to apply to the group.
Staff will be elected this summer. What does the Staff Do?
We have been granted a one year provisional charter from the New York State Board of Education. This charter allows us to operate a not-for-profit school in the State of New York.
We are in the process of having our permanent building built. The building will be located on 67 acres of land in Woodstock, NY. The land is located on Zena Rd. approximately 1/4 mile north of Route 28.
