5A wonderful book, May 20, 2023
I bought this one the day after I finished "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants". I absolutely love this book. I kinda lived out a little bit of everyone's conflicts, a little. But I can totally agree with their emotions. If you've read the first one, you'll definately enjoy this book. If you haven't read the first one, YOU MUST READ IT!!! The first one is fantastic as well. And in my opinion, the sequel almost beats the first one. Hope I helped you.

5My All Time Favorite Book Series!, Mar 30, 2023
Unlike most sequals this book was as good, if not better then the first traveling pants book. Each girl's story becomes more and more intricate with a new plot twist in practically every chapter.

Bridget travels to Alabama were she uncovers buried secrets about her parents past and regains her confidence.

Carmen tries to balance a new boyfriend while worrying about her mother's new relationship.

Lena's summer revolves around the ups and downs of her relationship with Kostos.

Lastly, Tibby goes off to a movie making camp where she learns who are true friends.

Their problems and stories are real situations that almost everyone can relate to. This sequal won't let you down!

5Amazing, Mar 20, 2023
Imagine four very different friends, their second summer together and apart, and a magical pair of pants that will keep them together. This is what the author Ann Brashares intended in her book, The Secoond Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. These four friends some what like sisters, were all born in September, grow up together and learn everything about each other. The girls are now one year older and wonder what this year has in store. The beautiful character Lena is staying home this summer, thinking about last summers love, Tibby is heading off for Virginia to attend a film festival, Carmen is staying home, watching her Mom date a guy named David, who she doesn't like that much, and Bridget(Bee) was planning to stay home with her friends but one incidents leads to another.
In this story, some girls go off to different locations and some stay home. But before they leave Carmen grabs the magical pants stuffed in her closet from last summer. These are magical pants that fit everyones size and shape. This would be the second summer with them. The girls got together for the richual, and reviewed the rules for the pants. For example, at the end of the summer you must write or illustrate the best thing that happend to you while wearing the pants.
In this funny, perceptive, and moving book there were many great and heart-pounding incidents. Last summer Lena met a guy named Kostos in Greece when visiting her grandma and Bapi. She loved him so much but they have to break up because they never got to see each other. But this summer Kostos came to America and they got back together. A few days later Kostos went back to Greece without notice and broke up with her again. Later on she finds out something very disturbing about him and Bapi. Tibby has gone to Virginia to attend a film festival. But last summers incident with a young girl named Bailey keeps disturbing her. She is given an assignment to film a documentary and she knows just who to do it on. This will shock everyone and will give her some honor. Carmen is staying home with her Mother, Christina. Last summer took her breath away when she found out that her dad was getting married. But this summer shocked her too. Carmen comes to find out that her Mom is dating a guy named, David. She doesn't take this to well and messes up things between her mom and him. Can she fix it before the end of summer? Bridget is planning to stay home with her friends, Carmen and Lena, but in the beginning of summer she finds letters from her grandmother addressed to her and her brother hidden in a drawer. She decides after a long argument with her father to see her. She arrives in Alabama to get reacquanted with her grandma. She discovers so many things from this woman, about Marly (Bee's mother who died a while back), her family, and even herself.
If you enjoy an uplifting, memorable, and touching book that will bring four friends closer than they ever could be in two summers together and apart, than this book is for you; If you enjoy books that have meaning and depth to it; if you enjoy a book that shows realism and true-life events that will shock and amaze you then The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is your kind of book. This book shows that it's never to late to enjoy yourself.

5Not your average friendship, Mar 11, 2023
Some people forget the little girl in kindergarten who always shared her play-do with you. Or your very first friend when you stepped into the first day of the 2nd grade. Some people forget those countless hours spent with friends as a young child-- or even as a teenager. This book is a lovely example of 4 unseperable, unstoppable, and undeniable pair of teenagers whose friendship will keep you hooked. These four girls are so different, but yet seem to come together in a perfectly wound friendship, I believe it could almost be better than Harry Potter. I truly do recommend this book for anyone boy or girl, child or adult.. it's a must-read. I am 12 years old and I really hope you decide to read this.
