WARNING!!!!!, Feb 16, 2023 Do not buy this item from 80's purple. They are nothing but a rip off company. When I discovered that they are actually profiting from these bands, I tried to cancel my order. They ignored my email and so did Amazon. For $7.50, it is not worth trying to get a refund. Shame on them -- it's a disgrace.

All about money, Feb 5, 2023 I didn't realize until it was too late that this product was from Nike. Go to the real Lance site for this item. I would rather all the money go to the Livestrong program not 10%.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY, Feb 3, 2023 I am a Nike employee and I am saying all this because it needs to be set straight since these bands have become so popular. I am NOT speaking on behalf of Nike or the LAF, nor am I degrading Amazon or eBay. I am simply trying to inform those who need to be informed. The Livestrong bands are only sold through the Lance Armstrong Foundation and directly from Nike. They are made by the LAF and supported amd sponsored by Nike, so those are the only two authentic sources that should be trusted. The bands cost $1.00. One band for $1.00. Some online retailers mark them up even though they are sold by Nike. And as I said, the LAF and Nike are the ONLY two authorized sellers of the bands. When they first came out, some other atheltic retailers sold them (Champs, Finish Line, Foot Locker, etc.) But they are not selling anymore either. The LAF, Niketown stores and Nike Factory Stores are the only real dealers. Private sellers, such as those on Amazon and eBay are selling for profit, not for charity. (Some private sellers are actually selling fake ones, also). So, if you want your donation purchase to actually go to cancer reaserch and support, please buy from the LAF or a Nike store. Also, the bands are now sold with sales tax (in states that have sales tax). That means one band should come out to be $1.00 and some change. I have seen, for quite a while now, how the popularity of the Livestrong bands is rising, and people are buying them online for ridiculous prices. Just keep in mind, there are millions more that have been made and are being made by the LAF. Another supply in now circulating into the Nike retail stores, so please look for them there, or on the Lance Armstrong Foundation website (LAF.org). (If LAF.org is backordered, try calling a Nike retail store, because we do do phone orders and can ship directly to you). Buying them elsewhere is not only denying funding for cancer research, but is also making some idiot rich on top of it. So, please just consider what the Livestrong bands were originally made for. Buy them to help those who suffer from a life threatening disease, not just becasue its the cool thing to wear right now. For further information, check out LAF.org or NIKE.com.

some people aren't too quick, Jan 30, 2023 This product had to be bought from someplace. Obviously, he got them from LAF. So, that $1 has already been paid to the Livestrong foundation. Also, what about shipping these (envlope/postage) & listing fees? After that... it seems that this seller makes about $2 off of each band. I agree thats too steep (seeings that it's twice what the foundation got). But also another thing that needs to be taken into consideration... LAF is backordered by 6 to 8 weeks. (pay now... they leave thier warehouse in 6 to 8 weeks even longer to get through the mail). Havent you guys ever heard: "You pay for convience"? Well, whats the problem? {Note to seller: You should discount these some before I have to undercut your price to prove a point.}
