 Not as good as i hoped, Aug 17, 2023
We got this seat as a shower gift for our first child. First he could not even sit in this seat till he was 3 months old the seat is at a ridiculously upright angle, to much for a newborn to sit in. So all it did was sit and collect dust for 3 months. Second the bar didnt hold my sons attention at all. The vibrations didnt work that good. And the fabric was pretty scratchy. Also my son was a large child 9 lbs 6 oz at birth so he grew very rapidly by the time he was able to sit in this seat he was almost 15 lbs and the bars that are supposed to keep this seat upright would start to bend and reshape. By the time my son was 5 months the bars where so misshapen he was practically laying on the floor. I would not recommend this seat to anyone. We are expecting our second child in a few months and have gotten the leap frog learning seat which we like a million times more.

The produce is great, but the box was all bent up & I was unhappy because it was a gift. I think things shipped should be in a box, not the original package.

A must have for a new baby, Aug 17, 2023
My son (4 months) absolutely loves this bouncy seat! He plays in it and sometimes falls asleep in it. We has used this item since he was about a month old. A relative let us borrow an older one, but it seemed like the incline was too steep to put him in it, so we went out and bought this one. This bouncy seat has been a winner since the day we put him in it.

This bouncer was one of the first "toys" that my daughter played with. She loved sitting in it and sometimes when she was little it kept her sleeping. A few comments on getting the bar into the holes - sometimes it is very difficult b/c the fabric isn't cut correctly. I don't know if this product will make it for baby #2 because the latch is warn out now. Also - the inside of the fish portion had some sort of condensation after awhile (it was always kept inside?). All in all the bouncer was good for babies but I don't know if I would waste money on the Fischer Price Aquarium line...

Not the safest bouncy seat, Aug 15, 2023
A bouncy seat can be a lifesaver!!! However, this particular bouncy seat does not score well in my eyes. I stopped using this bouncy seat when my son was about 3 mos of age. This overhead bar connects to the seat below hip level, and the seat is very shallow. This means that a baby determined to grasp the toys with his hands can fall over the side of the bouncy seat, EVEN IF he is NOT able to sit on his own.... I also own a Leap Frog bouncy seat, which my son has been much more entertained by, and can still safely use at 5 months of age.
I have seen other Fisher Price bouncy seats which appeared to be fine. Just be sure to look closely at the seat depth/angle and the placement of the activity bar.
