4Good for a 5 yr old too..., Mar 26, 2023
My daughter is in kindergarten and she is only 5 years old. She enjoys the game a great deal. When she plays the game I can hear her laughing, counting and spelling. She enjoys this game and loves the fact that she can switch players, she can choose from spiderman, spidergirl and wolverine. There is a part of the game where they are in the grocery store they learn about produce and different section of the grocery store. She likes to come to the store and show me when the fruit section is compared to where the meat section is. Best of all for me is that she is having fun while she learns. The game is good for both girls and boys. My nephew also enjoys the game and he is also five years old.

5Hours and Hours of fun and learning!, Mar 15, 2023
This game offers a little more of a challenge then some of Vsmiles first games. My 6 year old daughter loves playing it and has already learned so much from it. I often hear her spelling the words along with the game as she moves from area to area. It is definatly one of her favorite games by far!

3Better for older kids, Jan 28, 2023
I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews. This game is a little challenging for young kids. I would think it is good for a typical first grader. That being said, this is my son's favorite of the games because of the characters. He always chooses this one, but becomes frustrated very easily. So, I end up playing. He loves the grocery store game (getting the supplies for the party). I HATE IT. It takes forever and the items on the list don't really look like the items on the shelves. I guess with some practice you would be able to get around the store maze quickly and get the items, but it takes me a while...and then paying for them...again counting out every coin for an endless stream of items. It does hold my son's attention span while I play, but as an adult, I think some of the other games (like Scooby Doo) are more entertaining.

4Great Smartridge for 5-6+ age group, Dec 31, 2022
We bought this game for our 6 year old son. The graphics are great and the game is appropriate for his age. He is in 1st grade so he is able to apply the math and spelling he is learning in school to most of the games in this cartridge which focus on math, spelling & vocabulary. Now, my almost 3 year old daughter likes this game also...particulary 1 game in the "Learning Adventures" portion of the cartridge because she doesn't need to know more of the advanced skills such as math etc. she simply needs to know how to manuver the joystick and the jump button. I rated it 4 stars because it is geared more toward the 6-7 age range because of the level of math & spelling knowledge required. The ONLY thing I don't like about the V-Smile cartridges is for 2 player set up. When the 1st player's turn is over, the 2nd player picks up where the 1st player left off rather than the 2nd player re-starting at the beginning of the game or where they last lost their turn...that is frustrating because the kids don't easily recognize who's turn it is. Other than that, the V-smile & this cartridge are great for fun and learning!
