Editorial Reviews If only they made them this way for big people. This baby-sized papasan chair is so cute and cozy, parents will want to snuggle in it themselves. Along with soothing vibrations and soft layers of terry fabric, baby will hear eight calming melodies while looking into the eyes of a sweet toy bunny they can hold in their arms. The rigidly-framed chair has two padded handles, and folds flat for storage, and the fabric is machine washable. Requires minor assembly and 3 "C" batteries. --Diane Beall |

Waste of money, May 5, 2023 We thought this would be perfect for our baby and it looked so cute. That is where it has ended though. We have only used this a few times and now have a used bouncy chair that she loves. I would not say that she is an overly fussy baby but this chair is not for her. I would recommend getting one that bounces as well as vibrates.
1) does not recline enough, baby slides down. 2) the strap system is not as quick and easy to use as some. If the baby is sleeping you will wake it up when putting on. 3) music is not very loud or audible 4) Vibration is very suttle, too suttle. 5) just is too boring for a baby, the bouncy seat gives them extra stimulation when needed but not when it isn't.

Great Product for the money, May 4, 2023 We got this product as a gift at our baby shower, at first I was a little skeptical of this, because it looked way to small for our son. But, I was wrong. He loved the "nesting" texture of this papasan, and belive it or not he looked really comfortable in it. He loved the fact that it had vibration and music. He had colic for the first 4 months and this chair was a lifesaver, when he got old enough for baby food, it worked wonders b/c I could sit in the floor and he would be to my level and feeding was much easier. It is a great product for the money.

Who knew we'd get so much use out of this thing?, May 3, 2023 I'm a new mom of only 2 weeks and I registered for this item on a whim while walking through BRU. How cute? A papasan chair for a baby! Now, with a two week old and living in a small apartment this item is getting great use. My hubby loves putting our son in the papasan...particularly in the middle of the night when I'm trying to get some sleep. Here's what I've found great about this item:
1. Baby sits very cozy in the seat
2. Locking straps (to keep him in place) are easily adjustable over a light blanket
3. Non-skid leg grips keep the papasan solidly in place on a table or other smooth surface (it does not slide at all!)
4. Vibration is mild (not too hard to disturb baby) and can be switched on with or without the lullaby music
5. Takes up little space and is very mobile...We use this in every room of the house and have even taken it with us to Grandma's
Things that could use improvement:
1. Make the support strap that wraps around the back of the papasan adjustable...my son is pretty big but as a newborn he tends to get really hunched in the chair. Being able to adjust the back strap would help this. Otherwise I fold a thin blanket and place it under my son to create a little more lumbar support.
2. The motor unit that plays the music and creates the vibration eats batteries like you wouldn't believe. My advice, invest in rechargeables or buy stock in Energizer.
3. My hubby also said putting this together was a tad tricky. I was asleep when he did this but that's his 2-cents worth.
4. The little stuffed toy is rather pointless. It could use a rattle. Of course, my son is still too young to have any interest in it what-so-ever.

Not all that great+baby had trouble sitting comfortably, May 3, 2023 My baby never fit well into this seat. She weighed 7lbs at birth and is now 11 lbs and she seems to slide down the seat (if not strapped in she'd slide right out of the chair). Also, the vibrations don't seem to be enought to sooth her. If the seat also had the bouncing ability that most bouncers have, she would have liked this a lot more.

Not reclined enough for baby, Apr 28, 2023 I am not too impressed with this seat. My son would slide down further and further until he eventually was almost falling off! Yes, it is very comfortable and soft but it should offer a variety of positions for reclining to avoid this problem.
