In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling offers up equal parts danger and delight--and any number of dragons, house-elves, and death-defying challenges. Now 14, her orphan hero has only two more weeks with his Muggle relatives before returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Attempting to go incognito as Muggles, 100,000 witches and wizards converge on a "nice deserted moor." As ever, Rowling magicks up the details that make her world so vivid, and so comic. Several spectators' tents, for instance, are entirely unquotidian. One is a minipalace, complete with live peacocks; another has three floors and multiple turrets. And the sports paraphernalia on offer includes rosettes "squealing the names of the players" as well as "tiny models of Firebolts that really flew, and collectible figures of famous players, which strolled across the palm of your hand, preening themselves." Needless to say, the two teams are decidedly different, down to their mascots. Bulgaria is supported by the beautiful veela, who instantly enchant everyone--including Ireland's supporters--over to their side. Until, that is, thousands of tiny cheerleaders engage in some pyrotechnics of their own: "The leprechauns had risen into the air again, and this time, they formed a giant hand, which was making a very rude sign indeed at the veela across the field." Long before her fourth installment appeared, Rowling warned that it would be darker, and it's true that every exhilaration is equaled by a moment that has us fearing for Harry's life, the book's emotions running as deep as its dangers. Along the way, though, she conjures up such new characters as Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, a Dark Wizard catcher who may or may not be getting paranoid in his old age, and Rita Skeeter, who beetles around Hogwarts in search of stories. And at her bedazzling close, Rowling leaves several plot strands open, awaiting book 5. Harry's magic gets out of hand in the fourth novel where his skills are challenged! Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to be a normal, fourteen year old wizard. Unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal - even by wizarding standards. |

If you buy Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire you'll feel like a student at Hogwarts. Harry has many challenges. Some include being picked for the Triwizard Tournament. Though Harry doesn't expect that he'll find that Voldemort is revived. If you want to find out about Harry you should buy Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.

Harry Potter is back for his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry, but so is his arch enemy Lord Voldermort who still hasn't been able to kill Harry. This is Harry's most exciting year at Hogwarts so far with the secret events and the girl of his dreams-Cho Chang. I liked this book and I especialy liked the ending so if you want to know what I liked so much pick up a copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This book will appeal to anyone who loves fantasy, mystery, and on-edge books.

Harry Potter Hall of Fame, May 18, 2023
If there was a book hall of fame this book would be in it! I started reading it then I just couldn't put it down. It's a combination of adventure, thiller, and emotion. I loved it. I think anyone who reads it will love it and will read the next one. I am reading the 5th one right now and it is even better. She really has out done herself. When the 6th one comes out you can count on me getting it. I think you should read this one and all of them too!!!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is about Harry's forth year at Hogwarts. This year, Harry is mysteriously entered in the Triwizard Tournament. Throughout the tournament, Harry faces many challenges requiring each wizard to use their own physical and mental skills like swimming, solving riddles, and fighting dragons. The fourth Harry Potter book isn't all about the tournament, however. It is filled with other exciting, funny and intense moments like the Quidditch World Cup, the `Dark Mark' and Ron and Harry's annoyance at each other.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a book with an amazing array of adventures, mysteries and thrills. J.K. Rowling has the remarkable talent to descriptively describe every detail in her books that it really makes you feel alive in the magic and excitement of Harry's adventures. Each of her books gets better filled with more suspense and action. In her fourth book, the reader is introduced to new characters that fit in with the story so well, and make it that much better.

Possibly the Best Harry Potter Besides the 5th , May 11, 2023
Every time a Harry Potter book comes out, it just gets better and better. She out does herself each time. All you have to know is that I will be buying the sixth book for sure.
