Saved me the one thing I don't have much of - Time, Apr 11, 2023 Having ploughed through the mammoth "Windows 2000 Scripting guide" I was inspired to automate just about everything but left without answers to solving the real challenges. After getting tired of wading through Google results, I bought the AD Cookbook and was enlightened. It provided effective explanation and solutions to my Scripting issues in the best format possible - Brief. It has saved me and several of my colleagues many hours and has earned a place among a few select well-thumbed references that I value.

Great Reference Guide, Apr 5, 2023 I've been working with vbs scripting in windows for a few months and found this book to be an excellent source of information and methods for doing that. But after getting it I found it a great reference for doing things through other methods like gui and command line tools as well as explaining what could or will happen if you do certain things, and Microsoft KB articles to read more.

Highly recommend!, Apr 2, 2023 This is one of the few books I've bought, read through, and highly recommend. It's well written and helped me through some issues at work. If you administer AD you should buy this book.

A little over my head (for now), but a great book., Jan 28, 2023 I was in a little over my head when I started reading this book, but I would rather spend the time understanding something that will increase my knowledge significantly. A good book for the examples, but I got a little lost in all of the terminalogy. GGS
