5GOD FORGIVE HE KNOWS ALL THINGS EVEN OUR HEART, Apr 29, 2023
I am sorry of what you went through Jan, keep your faith in God, He will guide you all the way to His house and there you and I will meet, if we don't meet before then. I am waiting for your book it should be here in a few days. You did a very brave thing asking for forgivness for your wrong doing, God heard your cry, so did I. God know our thoughts before we think them, He know our heart, God loves not one but all. Author

5This Is One Gutsy Woman...., Apr 28, 2023
I was able to see Jane Fonda at an author event the other night, and I must say that I came away even more impressed by her honesty and "gutsiness". Ms. Fonda is unflinching in her desire to "tell it all" - favorable or not - and give her readers a sense of who she is, and how she got there. Just by meeting her in person, you can tell she is someone who has a tremendous amount of energy and carries very high ideals. I have read most of the book, and she depicts her life "so far" with very little self-pity, and takes full responsibility for any mistakes she has made in her life. She is down to earth, yet obviously has some very special qualities which have brought her this far. As for her war "antics", if only there were a few more like her who would use their celebrity to bring to light the atrocities and cruelty of the Iraq War. Great book - unforgettable woman!

5GO, JANE, GO, Apr 28, 2023
I read the entire book and I really enjoyed it. She has experienced so much, I would have liked to read more of her adventures. Until I read the book, I saw some of her movies, knew her dad was Henry and her brother was Peter, knew she was married to Tom and Ted,went to Viet Nam and never heard the end of it, knew she did fitness videos...nothing beyond the basics. I always thought of her as Ms. Perfect. She seemed aloof, cool, smart, outspoken, sure of herself, in command of her life, independant, secure, wouldn't take any crap from anyone, especially men and lived in the sheltered world of money and Hollywood, which makes it easier to be all of the above. I did not really like or dislike her. I respected her somehow, but was not quite sure why.Reading the book really changed every thought I had about her for the better. She seems much more human and warmer than I would have guessed her to be and she is not so perfect afterall and willing to say so to the world. I admire her for sharing her life so candidly with us and as I read the book it very definately made me stop and think about my own life. It's a shame Ted Turner doesn't get over himself and realize what a class act he gave up...as I read the book I kept thinking Ted and Jane seem so right together. Unless you have some personal hang up against Jane Fonda to begin with that you can't get over...you will like the book.

3Dear Miss Fonda............., Apr 28, 2023
I reviewed this book last week but was somehow deleted for reasons unknown to me. I believe it was because I mentioned my book, which is also an autobiography and has three times the number of reviews and is a solid five star rating. I can't believe Miss Fonda felt threatened by little old me. Other reviewers mentioned other books and Amazon.com did not delete them. Then why me?

My life So Far was an enjoyable read and I pointed out the good parts of the book and the bad. I also expressed my opinion of Fonda's activism which certainly could not ruffel her curly locks after she herself talked about it on every television talk show over the last few weeks. I like her style of writing, I like her honesty, I dislike her self-analysis which runs through out her entire autobiography. When she tells her life story it certainly does not reflect the mirror of nature. She is out of touch with reality and with her stardom, fame and fortune you would expect that, but does she? For the record, I enjoyed the read but gave it three stars because of her excess baggage she carries wherever she goes.

5A Woman's Life Story, Apr 27, 2023
I liked the book. I don't agree with her statement that this country could't be forever the most powerfull on earth.Because of the greed of the super-rich,everybody else benefits with a good standard of living. I am a foreign born person and it puzles me how many persons in this country don't understand the world politics. I agree with Ted Turner that anybody could make in this country, if that is their life goal.
The power play for control between the sexes I think is true. All the females should read this book. I agree that God is the one to give us his love and make us whole. As for enriching Jane Fonda she is sharing her riches with the girls that she is helping with her programs. May God give her many good years to enjoy.
