 These my scene guys needs some SERIOUS help!!!!!!!!!, Aug 11, 2023
Its bad enough that that the my scene in general looks ugly but the guys look like who did it and ran! If you think the my scene guys look good then you got a problem. At least the bratz boyz look SO MUCH better than these my scenes. These my scene boys need more than BEYOND help. Im not saying that you have to listen to me but I think bratz are so much better than my scenes. They have nice hot clothing that isnt tacky and even though they have big lips at least there not like my scene dolls that has sloppy butt shapped lips. I really recommend bratz instead of these squishy headed, butt sloppy lipped, ugly dolls, with tacky clothes called my scene. God, Please help the people who makes these dolls...seriously...

What Happened To Everything My Scene Stands For?, Aug 4, 2023
I love My Scene dolls more than any other toy ever made. From the beginning I have LOVED everything My Scene stands for: being yourself. But these new guy dolls take all the meaning and destroy it. Lately all the My Scene guys have taken Sutton's style. What happened to their individuality, with looks that reflect each of their unique personalities? River, the rocker type, has a "total rocker" look. Hudson, the goofy jock, has a sporty style. Sutton is the only one who has kept his polished, London inspired look. Bryant, who was discontinued, had a vintage style. Ellis has a high-class yet laid-back look, which is similar to what all the guys wear now (though, unfortunately, he was dropped from the last few sets that the guys were in).
This doll is weird, though. He is looking up in a peculiar way, rather than forward. "River's" hair looks quite a lot like Ellis's. His eyes are a funny color, a whitish brown? Weird. He looks a bit older than he really is/should look. Oh, say...40? They REALLY need to go back to the ORIGINAL look for all of the guys...really. I refuse to but any of the guy dolls until they look acceptable. I thought the guys could not look any worse when thay came out with the smiley faces, but I bought them anyway for the awesome outfits. But I was wrong. These guys are BEYOND ugly. I will not buy them, even for their so-so outfits. I just can't do it.
On the "River" doll, he took Ellis's hair. All of them have adopted Ellis's style. But notice how Ellis is not in any of the new sets. Reminds of what happened with Bryant. He was discontinued, but the guys took his style (in one the Hangin' Out set, Ellis almost totally took Bryant's Back To School outfit) and Sutton took his afro 'do for a few collections. Mattel always does this, as if it will make up for the discontinued dude. They should just continue all the guy and keep their styles.
I hope Mattel will go back to the original way.

Yeah, I'm the the writer of that review. And I didn't see the pics here. I saw the picture of him on myscene.com(HE'S CROSSEYED!) Now I think he's not all that bad...

Out of every my scene boy River is always UGGGGGGGGGLY!!!Getting Ready: ugly!Jammin' in Jamaica:not all that bad exept for the hair Club Birthday:UGLYEST RIVER EVER!!!!!! IT MAKES MY EYES BLEED! And belive me, I'm a huge My Scene fan, just not of River's

Great new look, Apr 19, 2023
I bought this doll for my daughter on her birthday and she loves it. Apparently others agree because the new my scene boy dolls have sold out at our toy store! He even looks better out of the box. Nicely updated (hair style much better) and cheaper too. Recommend it.
