The Sims is a great game! There's nothing better than controlling these little people's every move! If you've never played this game, you have to try it! It's addicting, you'll find yourself playing it for hours on end! I had The Sims and a few expansion packs on a Windows computer, I bought all of them seperately so I know that this is a fantastic bargain! And I am having no problems with the Mac versions of these games. I have this party pack along with three other expansion packs and everything works perfectly! I am running these games on an iBook G4 - Mac OS X Version 10.3.9, with a 1GHz processor and 640 MB of memory.

The Sims is a classic game that everyone should get to experience. Every aspect of the game is perfect. The only thing, although not a problem, the minimum system requirements if you were to buy the expansion packs seperately would be less than 300 MHz, however, it is printed that buying the Party Pack requires at least 500 MHz. As long as you can meet the overall minimum system requirements, the game should run smoothly and great.

My dad jus recently bought me a mac mini and since there were not that many games to play on it i was soo mad! but when i was talking to one of my friends at school she asked me have i ever played the sims before. i mean i had heard of the sims before but i never played it. so i said no so she begged me to try it so i begged my dad to buy it for me ever since then i play it for like the whole day because its summer and schools out and i have nothing to do so i play this game all the time. now ive begged my dad to buy me the sims 2 and im waiting for it in the mail.

 HORRENDOUSLY SLOW and unplayable...., Jun 4, 2023
... this has been a horrendous waste of money. After 2+ hours, I can't get the game to run on my computer, despite the fact that my machine far exceeds the system requirements. there's a 1-4 minute lag between when you click a button and when the action occurs, and in a game like this (there's a LOT of choices to make and clicks to make on objects) it's completely unplayable.
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Great Buy!, Feb 8, 2023
As you have probably read, the Sims is one of the best games ever made! When I saw this pop up as I was ordering Hot Date, my heart jumped. Bad for me, lucky for you- I've spent almost 100 bucks on all of these games buying them separately. This is a bargain! Of course, the Sims is so much more fun with these expansions. It just stinks that this wasn't out yet when I purchased the Sims 5 months ago... :-)
