PRICE!!!???, Dec 26, 2022 These same CDs go for 13 pounds on amazon.co.uk... WHY WHY WHY are they nearly $50 on here?? Not for the shipping! I can order them from .co.uk or BOL.COM or something actually in the UK and not have to pay that much, even considering the shipping -- which is also going to be charged on here. Weak Dollar? Yeah, but not THAT weak! What the heck!?

This is the worst one so far!, May 21, 2023 I am fan of the UK now cds. I have almost all the them since they started (I have more than 50 now cds). This one is the worst one so far. Nothing European, almost every song is unbearable. I don't know what they were thinking? Yes, if you like the American chart topers you might enjoy this CD. If you like techno stay away from this one! and don't waste your money. I throw mine, away.

Better than average UK Now for American tastes, Apr 15, 2023 Ok, a quick recap for those of you late to the series. Like the US "Now That's What I Call Music" series, the original UK series mixes all genres of hits by the original performers. Unlike the US series, each release contains TWO CD's and has more current (at least on the UK charts) hits. So here's this volume's line up.Disc: 1 1. Britney Spears - Toxic 2. Kelis - Milkshake - - No need to explain these 2 hits to US consumers. Both were also major US hits. 3. Jamelia -Thank You - - Nope, not a cover of Dido. Passable UK soul. 4. Kylie Minogue - Red Blooded Woman - - The song her US label is pushing as a hit. 5. Justin Timberlake - I'm Lovin' It - - Yeah, the McDonald's theme 6. Enrique Iglesias feat. Kelis - Not In Love - - Kelis strikes again! Actually for Enrique, not a bad track 7. The Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up - - Less successful follow up to "Where is the Love", but good stuff 8. 2 Play feat. Raghav & Jucxi - So Confused 9. Beenie Man feat. Ms. Thing - Dude 10. Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl - - Re-release of a reggae tinged mid-90's hit that re-topped the charts after Andre appeared on a "survivor" clone for has-been celebs. 11. DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide - - This decade's "Macarena". It will haunt every wedding you go to for the next ten years. 12. Girls Aloud - Jump - - Remake of Pointer Sisters hit. (Not Van Halen or Kris Kross) 13. Boogie Pimps - Somebody To Love - - Dance mash of Jefferson Airplane classic 14. Atomic Kitten feat. Kool & The Gang - Ladies Night - - Yup, a Kool cover. Nothing special 15. Emma - I'll Be There - - Emma formerly known as Baby Spice 16. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - I Won't Change You 17. Scissor Sisters - Comfortably Numb - - Dance remake of classic Pink Floyd track from "The Wall". Surprisingly effective. 18. Deepest Blue - Give It Away 19. LMC vs. U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above - - Bass, drum & Guitar from U2's "With Or Without You" superimposed on Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know". 20. Special D - Come With Me 21. Ultrabeat - Feelin' Fine 22. Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes 23. Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock Disc: 2 1. Will Young - Leave Right Now - - Recent UK #1 from the original Idol winner. Probably the best original track ever from an Idol and I've heard far too many. If Fantasia or LaToya make it to the final 3 on this year's American Idol, they'll probably cover this song. 2. Katie Melua - The Closest Thing To Crazy - - She been described as the UK's version of Norah Jones.... 3. Norah Jones - Sunrise - - ... so you can compare them side-by-side. 4. Blue - Breathe Easy - - UK boy band that have become this year's NSync. 5. Kelly Osbourne feat. Ozzy Osbourne - Changes - - Dysfunctional family soundtrack. Suspect it'll be featured on the next Osbourne series. 6. Blink-182 - I Miss You - - This'll be their "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)". Great track! 7. Busted - Who's David - - Who cares? Another boyband. 8. Fountains Of Wayne - Stacy's Mom - - Also on 2004 Grammy Nominees CD 9. Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out - - Buzz track from a buzz band. Starts as prototypical Strokes rocker, then about 1 minute in, something magical happens. You HAVE to hear it1 10. Alistair Griffin - Bring It On - - Take it off. 11. Sugababes - Too Lost In You - - Their previous single "Hole In the Head" (on Now 56) is taking off in the US, so this could follow. 12. VS - Love You Like Mad 13. Joss Stone - Fell In Love With A Boy - - White Stripes song transmogrified into soul classic. 14. FYA feat. Smujji - Must Be Love 15. N.E.R.D - She Wants To Move - - The Neptunes alter egos. (VS, LMC, FYA, N.E.R.D: Doesn't anyone use words anymore?) 16. Jamie Cullum - Frontin' (BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge) - - Jazz singer (akin to Harry Connick Jr) covers Jay-Z. Must be heard to be believed. 17. Keane - Somewhere Only We Know 18. Snow Patrol - Run 19. Alex Parks - Maybe That's What It Takes 20. Ronan Keating - She Believes (In Me) - - Remake of old Kenny Rogers clunker. 21. Michelle - All This Time - - UK's 2004 "Idol" champ. She's no Kelly Clarkson. Perhaps not a replacement for the US Now 15, but certainly an excellent companion.
