Hot Toy! Hot Doll! It's Barbie! , Sep 2, 2023 Okay, when i got this doll, i was like wow! It's a great doll and real fun to play with. She is totally worth it! Believe me. i'm real picky with my dolls. But this one is my favorite, besides Chelsea.

Love It!, Jul 11, 2023 I'm 11 years old and I love the doll and the movie! At first I only wanted the doll for the movie, but after I got I loved the doll too! If you think you're too young for this think again. It tells about a lot of things that are probablly going on in your life!

Barbie is mature, fun and cool, Jun 15, 2023 MyScene's version of Barbie started out with their blog for Barbie featuring Barbie and her 2 friends as NYC rich girls livin' it up! They had no school, no college, no jobs but spent all day shopping, getting manicures/pedicures, going to salon and it was FUN! Reading about their exotic, rich adult life was cool. Now, albeit, they've toned it down and recent entries show the girls are actually IN SCHOOL and actually worry about homework etc when in the beginning they had their own apartments etc. This is probably due to parents who complain about whether it's "child-appropriate" - Barbie's grown up. She's not JUST a child-toy anymore. Of course teenagers or young adults (are they between 16-22?) will be crazy over guys - remember when you were a teenager? Girls were boycrazy between 12-22 (and some still are past that age) and MyScene's Barbie characters show truer versions of a modern day Barbie. The dvd was fun - I wish they'd make a tv series of Barbie and her friends and make it more a 21+ version - parents can decide if they want their children to watch but kids are watching FAR worse on tv these days than a grown up Barbie who is for all purposes pretty tame and moral and doesn't do anything wrong other than being rich, promoting recycling, giving clothes to good-will etc. The girls are pretty good role models.

Barbie is a ho now, apparently, Jun 12, 2023 WORST DVD for a kid I have seen in my entire life. Mattel actually says that this is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Hmmmm, then why do the characters refer to being band groupies and look like a bunch of ridiculous club-rats on ecstasy? The age-inappropriateness of this product boggles the mind. It's Barbie, but she's a spoiled, lusty brat yearning for the love of a goateed rock punk. REAL NICE FOR KIDS! I am seriously hacked at Mattel since we played this at our 6-yr old's party (someone brought it as a gift). A lot of bazoons had to buy off on this idiot-project for it to happen. [loosers].
