I brought this game home thinking I would love it........NO! I brought home this game thinking there was great graphics.........NO! I brought home this game so glad.........NO! I brought home this game thinking it was the best game ever...........NO! I brought home this game thinking this is the bomb............NO! I think NBA Live 2005 is so much better. I think this one is @#%^&$.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the horrid framerate this game has. It really kills it for me. If you have it on the Gamecube you hardly notice, but PS2 and XBOX has terrible slowdown. I cannot understand why EA would put this on the market. I really enjoy the game on the Gamecube and is probably my favorite basketball title.

I Love THIS GAME! NBA Live is the best (non streetball) basketball game out there. The new pro hop feature is the best. This game is all i play with sum friends when they come over. It NEVER gets boring. You can always start a new franchise and have fun. Everyone is equally rated and the game is non-stop fun. GET THAT GAME! trust me. You need it to have a good time. Later.

Okay, I need to play ESPN Basketball '04 a little more because I haven't given it my full attention yet. But I think this NBA LIVE is great. It's fun, it's entertaining, the commentary is much better, the music is good, the franchise game mode is killer, and it's just fun to play. It's a great game to play with a bunch of friends or to play alone. I've just finished an 82 game season and I'm in the conference finals right now. Also, I thought the graphics were great. I have the S-Video cable for my XBOX and I think everything is crisp and vibrant. Creating a player is cool, too. I didn't even play NBA LIVE 2003, the last one I owned was Live 2002 on PS2 which was sub-par. This exceeded my expectations and I think it's worth buying. (especially when you get it for half the price on ebay.)

Other than the few problems, this game is great all around. When in Dynasty Mode, wait till the beginning of the second season, then many good free agents will become available. Unrealistic. Also, the same few songs get really boring after a while. The gameplay is much better than ESPN NBA, but the draft, trading, etc. are not as good. Freestyle is great, and so is the 1 on 1. This is the best b-ball game out there.
