5Junie B. and her big fat mouth, May 9, 2023
In the book Junie B. Jones and her big fat mouth was very funny.
She loves to tell something that she was not suppose to tell. Sometimes Junie B. Jones, mouth can get her into a lot of trouble, like in school. It's Job Day, in Junie B.'s class. Junie B. yells out to the whole class what she's going to be. I'm going to paint like Charlotte, unlock stuff like Roger, and save people like William. But she didn't know what she wanted to be. Little kids like Junie B. Jones, are like that sometimes....
Big Kids too! Whoever, loves to laugh, this book is the right one. I hope you enjoy it!!!!

1Don't Bother Reading This Book, Nov 20, 2022
While certain parents may think Junie B's atrocious attitude as 'cute' and 'funny', I believe that the whole series is a bad influence on children. Look, funny as the books may appear on the surface, when you combine intentional unecessary bad grammar, examples of rudeness to adults, eating off the ground, unflattering definitions of discipline: "Punishment is when you have to sit at a table and everyone is staring at you. And it makes you feel like P.U.", labelling classmates (" That Big Fat Meanie Jim, Crybaby William, Dumb Bunny Lucille" and bad ethics ("Then I runned around the classroom speedy quick. And I butted that Jim in the stomach. And good news. I didn't get caught"), you have a petri dish of bad examples. And to those of you who think that it doesn't matter, because kids enjoy the books, you're taking a very naive stand. You're saying, "My child might pick up heaps of bad examples of behavior from reading these books, but that doesn't matter because they're funny"

Listen, if there was a television programme about someone being rude to her parents and using poor grammar, you wouldn't call that the harmless pursuit of comic excellence; you'd call it rude, vulgar, and unecessary. If Junie B Jones was a television show, people would practically be staging protest marches

When I read 'Junie B Jones And Her Big Fat Mouth' and posted a review on this site, I didn't just find one or two fans of Junie B. Instead I encountered evidence of permitted, even celebrated, exploitation of the rules of English. I don't recommend this book at all.
