Makita just keeps creaming the competition!, Apr 30, 2023
This is my 3rd Makita drill/driver, my 1st I keep as a spare and my 2nd one was stolen out of my garage (grrrr!). What floors me is not just the brilliant design, build quality and reliability which I now expect from Makita as much I expect it from most other Japanese-designed products---it's the astounding BANG FOR THE BUCK which this packet offers.
You get an excellent quality impact driver that puts screws through wood or metal like bullets through butter, plus an excellent general-purpose drill, and last but not least a fluorescent work light that is actually very practical and useful rather than being just some worthless freebie...for about the same price that I originally paid for just the impact driver (the one that was stolen) by itself! I also appreciated that the carrying case now has metal fasteners instead of the plastic ones all my previous Makita carrying cases had...nice improvement.
My advice is, snap this kit up before Makita comes to its senses and stops offering it!

Fast & Powerful!, Apr 19, 2023
Got this impact driver two weeks ago after reading a whole bunch of reviews and while it takes a little getting used to, once you've mastered it things go really fast. First off, it's small, smaller than a comparible drill. That makes it great fitting into tight spots. It's also lighter, which is a real blessing on the arms and hands. But most of all, it's fast -- considerably faster than using a conventional drill. It goes so fast and is so powerful that I was leery at first, so I started by using it to remove hundreds of screws (I'm a hobbiest and I'm making a major change in one of my projects). Then once I got the hang of how to adjust speed with the trigger, I started using it to sink the new screws. Bam, Wham and it's done! Highly recommended!

Amazing Deal !!, Apr 1, 2023
This set is truly an amazing deal. The impact driver alone is worth the money. I have used the impact driver for several small projects and love it, because it is so light weight (compared to my Dewalt cordless) and has amazing driving power.
