This toy will make you want to take a nap. Equipped with straps that attach it to a crib, this play aquarium and music maker is the perfect thing to amuse a child or soothe them to sleep. There are three settings, depending on what kind of stimulation is needed: music only; music plus soft glowing lights; and music plus lights, bubbles, and moving fish. There are also three music options, the best one offering soft and melodic New Age fare, the other two somewhat odd, spacey versions of familiar lullabies. The music combined with the lights creates an instantly peaceful, soothing ambiance. There are a couple of buttons and doodads for baby to bat around that make the fish react in various ways. If these buttons were a little more responsive, this toy would be near perfect. --David Stoesz |

I received this as a baby gift, however I still needed a lot of other more important things, so I returned it. I received another one from my sister-in-law after my son was born. She told me it was a MUST have. I am so happy that I received it a second time, because I probably would not have gone back and bought it myself. It has been the best toy for entertainment and the best soother for sleep. My son is still using it and he is 13 months old. My only complaint is that the setting with the music, lights and bubbles is a little short. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this to all new parents.

A Very Soothing Toy for Mom and Baby, Apr 29, 2023
I received this toy at my baby shower, and now I bring one to every baby shower I attend. My daughter started to appreciate this toy at 3-4 months. She is now 20 months. She turns it on by herself when she wakes at night to settle herself. I can hear it in the monitor when she does. The music was always very soothing (for both of us) during those wee-hours in the rocking chair. It's not tinny or high pitched like most baby toys. I would highly recommend this toy.

Overall, I think this is an interesting toy for my child. He liked it and it kept him occupied quite a bit. He loved to look at it and manipulate the fish and listen to the sounds.
However, if we wanted to used it at night, it wasn't for sleeping. It was great for calming him down when crying but more often than not, it kept him from sleeping as he wanted to play with it. And most of the time, once he figured out how to get to it, he'd turn the volume all the way up so whatever sound you had going was blasting out.
I also wish that there was a setting just for the sounds. Ours only has sound if you also have bubbles and lights and it would be great to just have the music or water sounds.
For some babies, this might help them get to sleep but be aware that it might do the opposite.

My friend daughters loves this and she said i had to have it when i was pregnanat with my daughter.
i really do not like it. its not an intresting toy. she never paid an attention to it. also it eats batteries which i hated too. but i really hated the most that it had no remote system at all. the music only plays for ten minutes and it has no remote so just as she was starting to quiet down it would go turn off and you have to go in there and turn it back on which would make her cry again. i stopped turning at all. nows she is 21 months and she turns it on by her self but the batteries go so fast i had to take it out and i dont use it any more. glo worm has same type of product but it plays up to 20 mins and she likes that one.

Best darn baby thing I've bought, Apr 27, 2023
I bought this for my baby months ago, and she's still playing with it at 1 year old. If she's anywhere else besides her crib, she won't sleep without it. We have a cheap crib that has wide rails on the front and baxk, and sloping ones on the sides, so the only way it fits on her crib is with about 6 zip ties on it. Looks bad, but who cares, the baby is happy!
