Editorial Reviews:
Editorial Review There's nothing really deluxe about this "tent" (and it's strictly for fair weather/back yard camping trips), but the Hide-Away certainly wins the prize for easy setup. Like other Playhut play structures, it's made of light nylon material with a springy wire frame. Take it out of the box, give a shake, and pop, it's time to roll out the sleeping bags. There's an awning/vestibule at the door, a panel that opens in the top for ventilation, and a "tunnel port" for connecting the side to a Playhut tunnel (sold separately). After a bit of practice, adults can twist-and-fold it into a flat package just 18 inches square. The tent is 60 inches by 42 inches by 40 inches high. --Richard Farr |

worth every cent and then some, May 18, 2023 We bought this for our two year old daughter...she loves it!Yes, I agree with some reviews about it being hard to put away, but we never do. We have a hard time getting her to sleep in her bed, but she will sleep in her tent in her room. It is her own house. She takes all her "Little People" animals in there and she is happy. Also for those of you who have a hard time getting it in the bag, instead just fold it flat and put it behind the sofa. Hey we have kids, it really is okay to have the tent sticking out above the top of your couch. I also run a day care in my home and I will tell you they love it. I had four girls in it on Friday and they had so much fun. The 11 month old would crawl in the front and then out the side opening. I am going to get another tent just for my day care. WE LOVE IT! AND I DO RECCOMEND BUYING IT!

Not worth the money, Apr 18, 2023 The kids played in it for one day and got easily bored because it is so small. I could never get it back in the carrying bag right and it would easily blow or tip over. The mice and squirrels had more fun chewing holes in the sides than the kids did playing in it.

Love it! Love it! Love it!, Feb 17, 2023 We purchased this tent for my 2 year old. He absolutely LOVES his new tent!...and so do we! It's light, handy, and no where near as pricey as the playhouses! PLUS, it can be used inside or outside and doesn't have to stay at it's full size all of the time. We are still working on getting the folding right so that it fits into the bag, but other than that we've had no problems. We plan on adding to it with a tunnel or something. I've read that some people think it's not durable. Like I said before, we've had no problems, but I can see how older kids may be too rough with it and bend it up a bit. If you have a younger child this is perfect!! I recommend this tent. I haven't regretted our purchase at all.

DANGEROUS, Dec 26, 2022 I read the reviews for this item and bought it based on its good reviews. What a mistake this tent is not sturdy at all and should be catergorized as an OUTDOOR tent only because it is very unstable and the bottom of the tent where the kids sit is made up of crinkly outdoor tarp material! Very disappointing!! My daugther is two and made the tent fall over every time!

AWESOME Tent, Nov 10, 2022 Both of my children, ages 21 months old and 5yrs old, LOVE this tent!!! They're in it all the time, take their toys in it, and my 5yr old pretends it's his fort. It's the perfect alternative to those big plastic play houses that can only go outside and can never be put away and are very expensive! We keep it set up in our living room, which we never use, so it's out of the way. You could take it outside though and bring it back in for the night. It also can be put back into it's carry case whenever needed. I've been recommending to all my friends.
