Editorial Reviews:

The beauty of this entry in the Baby Einstein catalog is its integration of puppets, toys, and live farm footage to help babies and toddlers make the connection between their plastic play sets and stuffed animals with images of a real farm. As always, the spoken language is minimal, omitting the pesky verbs and adjectives that would confuse the very young. The 30-minute main program is divided into sections: barns and equipment, animals, planting crops, and harvesting. Background music ranges from "Old MacDonald" to Schumann, and DVD extras include a 6-minute puppet show and visual "discovery cards" identifying animals and farm paraphernalia with a single word. (Ages 6 months to 3 years) --Kimberly Heinrichs

5One of the best of the Baby Einstein series, Sep 10, 2023
This video in the Baby Einstein series is one of the best. The video is focused and thematic throughout. It alternates between education and humorous puppet acts, wonderful scenes of rural places and lively children's music. My nine month old is spellbound and my seven year old loves it too!

5Definitely one of the best BE dvd's, Aug 17, 2023
This is definitely one of the best Baby Einstein DVD's. Our daughter (20 months) absolutely loves watching it. She sits transfixed, repeating the words that are spoken and making the appropriate animal noises. A lot of the things she repeats afterwards, so it really seems to stimulate her vocabulary. If she could, she would watch it all day.

5Great!, Aug 5, 2023
My 2 1/2 month old son stays quiet for at least 15 - 20 minutes when I put this DVD in. Gives me time to do a few things around the house. I couldn't believe it worked! I hate to plunk him in front of the TV but figured at times when I really need to, at least he can watch something developmentally friendly! Includes a sing-along and on-screen "flash cards" so encourages parent or baby-sitter interaction.

5A real find!, Aug 3, 2023
I wasn't too sure my 11 month old would enjoy this DVD when I purchased it, but she has seen it 6 or more times and could watch it over and over and not get bored. She loves watching the different animals, toys, kids, babies, puppets, dancing to the songs, and she even attemps the sounds the animals make. It's really exciting to see her learning from a video...not my idea of an ideal teaching device, but this one is great for a little change of pace.
